Title: Mediant Narration and Planetary Conditions
In this session we’ll explore how planetary descriptors, like ‘entanglement,’ complicate our relations to space, time, location, sites, and scales. As conditions that condition life-worlds today, we’ll extend ‘mediant’ narration (Arjun Appuradai)–an agential weaving of mediation with materials–to the domain of hypothetical modeling, and how such empirical-fictional approaches remediate orientations of situated practice and research.
