Territories of Co-Cognition Symposium

Organized by The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, Territories of Co-Cognition is half-day symposium on 7 May 2025 in advance of the Venice Architecture Biennale, held at Ocean Space, Venice (IT). Curated by Roberto Bottazzi, Ilaria Di Carlo, Annarita Papeschi from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL in collaboration with TBA21–Academy. Additional speakers include: Luciana Parisi, Fiona Zisch, Julian Besems, Andrew Porter, Will Cavendish.

“Territories of co-cognition” is a half-day symposium showcasing research from The Bartlett School of Architecture and its network. The event will explore the opportunities and challenges of automation and the application of AI in novel strategies of worldmaking.

This year’s Biennale, ”Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective”, reflects on the meaning of collective intelligence and its relationship with the built environment by exploring how human and non-human forces interact to shape our habitats.
